Media System Installation Schedule Worksheet
Typically systems are installed in 4 phases.
1. Planning & Purchase
2. Wire Runs Rigging & Building
3. Equipment Install
4. Final Setup and Training
This gives the other trades time to finish what they need to do so the media system can be installed.
On site labor is provided by the fellowship with volunteers to help Jeff and by contractors for the items that require a license.
Planning
What are the Audio, Video and Lighting needs of the fellowship?
Speaker placement, screen locations, camera locations, stage layout, amp room, booth placement
BGM system & video distro for the cryroom, lobby, restrooms, cafe, outside areas
Lighting for the stage, general overhead, walls, control panel locations
Electric, Fly points, Conduit, Wire runs
Purchase
Equipment Selection made to fill requirements specified, SPL and coverage area for sound, Lumens for lighting & video
Purchase approval funding & payment schedule
MRP-Make equipment purchases and schedule delivery
Wire Rig Build
Electrical for media systems installed and tested
Electrical for stage lighting, stage pockets, and house lights installed and tested
Wire Runs, snake, speaker, control, video cables
Rig mains, fills, stage lights, projection
Amp Rack setup
Stage Pockets back boxes installed and conduit run
Booth construction completed and booth area carpeted
Installation
Main Speakers, fills, amps
Stage lights, house lights, dimmers & control
Projectors & screens
Cameras
Stage floor pocket inputs/outputs
Booth Equipment setup and wired
BGM system, speakers, level controls
